Under the leadership of Prince Kael'thas and later Lady Vyranoth's exile, the survivors regrouped to reclaim their home. Though Kael'thas eventually fell to the Lich King's influence before his redemption, the city was saved from total annihilation by the efforts of the Horde and the Burning Legion's defeat in Outland. The Sunwell was eventually restored with the essence of Sargeras, transforming it into a source that could sustain both light and arcane magic without corruption. Silvermoon now stands as a testament to elven endurance, where the architecture blends ancient High Elf grace with the darker, more pragmatic aesthetics of the Blood Elves.
